About your Role:
As a Registered Nurses work as a member of the ACT or TACT team, advocating and working with your assigned adult clients. The team is comprised of several members, each with their own focus with the client, including housing, vocational services, therapy, medical, and substance use. As our RN, you will conduct psychiatric assessments, assess physical health needs, and make appropriate referrals to community physicians. You will work alongside our psychiatrist to provide management and administration of medication and treatment, rehabilitation and support services. This position includes client transportation as needed and one week on-call rotation, handled virtually or in person, depending on the situation. For optimal client success, you will meet with clients in the local community primarily, with approximately 20% of your time spent in the office or via zoom/phone.

Does the following apply to you?

RN license
-
Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree in Nursing
-
Minimum of one (1) of experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting

Up to date Covid vaccination or a valid exemption through DOH
-
Valid DC driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
-
Clean Criminal Background Check

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
ACT is a specialty service that involves a multidisciplinary team approach offered in the adult’s natural setting. Focused on helping those who have not been successfully engaged in services and/or those who have not benefited from traditional mental health services for individuals aged 25 and older.
Transitional Assertive Community Treatment (TACT)
TACT is a subset of ACT, serves consumers from 18-29. TACT help those who have not been successfully engaged in services and/or those who have not benefited from traditional mental health services.
