Job Description
The Commercial Sales Account Manager prospects new and existing clients within an assigned market area to deliver sales presentations; follow up with key decision makers; and sell services based on businesses’ specific needs for commercial plumbing.
Starting Pay Rate : $60,000, plus commission and bonus opportunity
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed monthly established targeted revenue goals
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, lead sources, and referrals
- Build a book of business through developing long-term relationships & customer loyalty
- Maintain all client communication and documentation in Salesforce
- Prepare sales presentations before pitching decision makers
- Make daily calls to new prospects and client base to generate leads
- Possess the knowledge and ability to communicate to clients the available services & pricing
- Handle sales processes from start to finish including Service Level Agreements (SLA), reports and other documentation in accordance with company policy.
- Weekly meetings with Manager to review goals, customers contacted, and in-progress sales.
- Act as company representative at sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events to build relationships and increase company visibility
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
Skill & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years relevant sales experience. (Preferred)
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience in a customer facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs. (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- Previous experience in service industry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or construction a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to achieve targets
- Strong attention to detail with problem solving capabilities
- Proficient at typing & comfortable with computers
