Position Summary
We have an immediate opening for a Human Resources Assistant. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the HR team while ensuring accuracy of employee information. The HR Assistant is often the first-line of communication and support to our employees.
To be successful, you’ll need to be a detail-oriented, initiative taker. We need a broad thinker who can make suggestions, take constructive feedback with a good attitude and without pushback, and then go out and personally execute with diligence. If you like organization, solving problems, and supporting others with a smile, we’re probably a good fit.
This position is full-time and based work from home.
Job Duties
- Serve all stakeholders with integrity, humility, and joy while consistently modeling the importance of both task competency and relationships;
- Answer general HR-related questions that arise by email, ticketing system, phone, and mail providing timely and friendly white-glove service to everyone, and escalating complex requests to the HR Manager;
- Assist talent acquisition team with administrative duties as assigned;
- Process tasks related to the onboarding and termination of employees, including verification of employment requests, benefits enrollments, COBRA paperwork, unemployment claims, and supporting new hire orientation;
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS ensuring information is complete, accurate, and updated;
- Support tracking of academic licensure and other requirements;
- Provide reporting and HR metrics/analysis as needed;
- Maintain written documentation of how work is completed;
- Perform various administrative duties;
- Participate in Company events, activities, and meetings with a smile and an infectious, great attitude; and
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field);
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience in an administrative role;
- Minimum of two (2) years of human resources experience;
- Strong experience with Mac OS, Google Workspace, and Asana preferred;
- Private, distraction-free, professional remote work environment with high-speed internet;
- Ability to pass required background checks.
