**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various medical settings, focusing on outpatient services, family planning, medication administration, and more.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Provide education to patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Oversee utilization review processes to maximize efficiency and quality of care
- Adhere to infection control standards and maintain sterile processing protocols
**Requirements:**
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Certification as a Practitioner in the specialty area of focus
- Experience in outpatient care, hospital, and medical office settings
- Proficiency in ICU care and acute patient management
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and treatment modalities
- Familiarity with infection control practices and safety regulations
Requirements:
· Graduate from accredited APP program
· In-Patient hospital experience required
· Nephrology experience required
· Previous experience in dialysis
· Current Texas state license
· BLS/ACLS certification
· Reliable transportation
We have an immediate opening for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant (APP) to service our patients at our Pearland Office Practice in addition to inpatient coverage at Memorial Hermann and HCA Pearland Hosptials. This team member will provide medical oversight to an assigned group of patients under the supervision of a DNA Supervising Physician. Day to day responsibilities will include patient visits, consulting and collaborating with physician(s) to determine appropriate course of treatment, and review and reporting of lab results. Consults with other members of the healthcare team when appropriate. Instructs patients and family members regarding treatment Consults with other members of the healthcare team when appropriate. In addition, this provider will evaluate and ensure that patients are familiar with all options of treatment and receive the appropriate information and education about the options for them.
