Mission: Cascadia Health delivers whole health care integrated mental health and addiction services, primary care, and housing to promote hope and support the well-being of the communities we serve.
Vision: We envision a community where everyone benefits from whole health care, experiences well-being, and has a self-directed, connected life.
Location: Inner SE Portland
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Be a part of a dynamic team of individuals working to provide peer support and build a sense of community with individuals living independently in various locations throughout the metro area. The Building Community with Peer Providers team works within a supported housing environment to build connections, create opportunities for interaction, and foster natural supports among residents. Using their own lived experience of recovery, Peer Providers deliver and facilitate peer-delivered groups on-site and work with residents individually to identify and address support needs related to behavioral health, substance use, food, primary care, and more.
Peer Providers use a strengths-based, wellness-informed, client-centered approach to assist individuals in achieving personal goals. They provide multiple opportunities for community engagement in both group and individual settings, advocating for and with individuals to support their personal wellness journeys.
Our Peer Providers believe wholeheartedly in the possibility of recovery for everyone and respect the diversity and cultural differences within our Cascadia community. They maintain an awareness and sensitivity to the perspectives and perceptions of those we serve and our colleagues.
