We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with a Masters Degree to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping patients improve their speech and language skills to enhance their quality of life.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to speech pathology
- Familiarity with clinic-based therapy practices
- Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for school-based interventions
- Ability to conduct standardized testing for accurate assessments
- Strong case management skills to coordinate patient care effectively
- Experience working in school settings is a plus
Pay and Benefits
Pay rates range from 42.50 to 60.00 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a competitive retirement plan with employer matching.
