MODS is an Award Winning Design/Build firm with projects throughout the USA. Our design team is seeking a Licensed Architect to oversee creative designs, interior designers, working closely together to create holistic designs for our clients. Our projects include health care facilities, retail stores, remote class rooms, tiny home, residential custom homes, restaurants, labs, indoor cultivation buildings, and unlimited requests from clients.
You will need a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a technical architect, leading and working with small to large projects. Registered architect registration is required. If you are NCARB certified would be helpful with out of state projects.
Strong technical competence and proven experience in schematic design through construction documents. Demonstrate understanding of code implementation, jurisdiction review, construction practices and methodologies. Experience leading a design team and project groups.
Proficiency with and experience using current design software including Revit, AutoCad and SketchUp. Requires strong leadership, written and verbal communication and organizational skills, facilitating the development of trusted relationships with clients and staff.
Provide overall technical and design coordination of internal and external project teams. Produce and monitor progress of project documentation and deliverables. Execute project tasks in all phases of design and construction. Lead owner and client meetings. Experience with all phases of project design and documentation. Generates and critiques design ideas with team members. Communicates with client and MODS leadership regarding project objectives. Communicates excellent in person, on the phone and via emails. Facilitates mentoring and coaching of less experienced team members. Works to succeed in a team environment.
Writes specifications and all documents related to project designs. Oversee the completion and presentation of project designs to clients.

Pay: $80,500.00 - $105,500.00 per year
