Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Counter Person. As a Counter Person, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our dealership. This position requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of retail sales, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Assist customers at the counter by answering inquiries and providing product information
- Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain accurate inventory control by monitoring stock levels and conducting regular audits
- Provide assistance with order fulfillment, including locating and retrieving items from inventory
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient customer service
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics to identify customer concerns and recommend appropriate solutions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math and inventory control principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in using POS systems and other computer applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and maintaining records
