Essential Job Duties

Prepare monthly reconciliations for various bank accounts

Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions/reconciling items

Prepare analyses for Form 990 and for the annual audit
-
Prepare daily and monthly journal entries to record account activity, including foreign current transactions and translation

Participate in the annual external audit and special projects
-
Prepare balance sheet and income statement account analyses as well as monthly/quarterly/ ad hoc reports

Provide financial guidance, advice and assist other internal constituents with the understanding of financial transactions

Investigate discrepancies in bank account reconciliations in a timely manner and propose action to resolve

Perform all tasks in a timely manner and within the parameters of the procedures in place

Assist in any other Finance related assignments

Complete other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
2+ years’ experience in accounting
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
-
Strong organizational and analytical skills
-
Proficient in computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office
-
Collaborative workstyle, effective working in and across teams
-
Experience with Blackbaud, Financial Edge or Raiser’s Edge preferred
