Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN/RN , you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Responsibilities:
- Accurately record patients' medical histories and vital signs
- Perform measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Monitor patients' progress and observe for any side effects of medications
- Maintain detailed patient charts and document fluid intake and output
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing and eating
- Administer injections, medications, and wound care as prescribed
- Offer emotional and psychological support to patients when necessary
- Communicate effectively with patients' families to provide guidance and support
Experience:
- Ability to perform diverse care tasks and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate nature with the ability to handle stressful situations
- Successful completion of an LPN/RN license program is required
