Purpose:
This role operates under the supervision of the program director. As the manager of the satellite site for Harbor Behavioral Health programs, you'll oversee all clinical aspects, directing, supervising, and monitoring the work of clinical staff. This includes providing supervision for APSS, TCM, leading daily groups, managing the day-to-day needs of the TRP program, leading treatment teams, overseeing documentation, and handling conflict management, among other assigned duties.
Compensation for this position is negotiable and can be structured as a salary W2 position or a contracted 1099 position, based on your preference. Salary range is determined by the scope of your licensure and the specialized services you can offer. For instance, those qualified to provide medicine management services may command a higher salary than those who cannot.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the program director to determine the continuum of care for program participants.
- Directs program APSS, CSA, and TCM staff in the day-to-day provision of TRP groups and other services.
- Conduct 1 on 1 therapy sessions.
- Reviews curricula and daily schedules, approving any changes.
- Reviews and approves all documentation, including daily shift logs, peer support group notes, and completed daily notes in Therasoft.
- Assesses and evaluates staff; develops methods to enhance strengths and minimize weaknesses.
- Provides ongoing client assessment to identify changing needs pertaining to individuals and treatment strategies.
- Attends meetings called by the program director, participating in discussions concerning program revision, improvement, and expansion, offering recommendations.
- Participates in quality assurance, quality improvement, and utilization review activities, making recommendations to the program director for corrective action plans.
- Maintains established performance and conduct standards in accordance with organizational expectations.
- Completes staff scheduling and manages time-off requests.
- Orders supplies and ensures TRP inventory and supply needs are met.
- Plans and coordinates groups, charts group attendance and goal attainment.
- Acts as a liaison with guardians and other stakeholders directly involved in patient care.
- Completes intakes, psychosocial assessments, and care plans.
- Approves weekly menus and supply lists.
- Plans outings and fun days for patients.
- Runs weekly family meetings with persons served and monthly staff meetings.
- Completes, documents, and evaluates annual safety drills.
- Handles all complaints, grievances, or conflicts between patients.
- Supervises staff training and growth – APSS and TCM supervision.
- Additional duties as needed to support the growth of business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a master's degree in human services, social work, or a related field.
- Licensed in the state of Kentucky in one of the following fields: LPP (Licensed Professional Planner), CPsy (Clinical Psychologist) with Auto Functionality, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPAT (Licensed Psychological Associate), LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst), or LCADC (Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor)
Preferred Qualifications (not mandated):
- Three to five years of experience in delivering human services related treatment with an emphasis on developing and maintaining trauma-informed care.
- Two years of full-time experience supervising counseling staff in a human services related position.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of and personal experience with public mental health services.
- Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with others.
