Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum goals and objectives
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs
- Foster social skills and promote positive behavior management techniques
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play
- Monitor children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians regularly
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for young children
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus
- First aid certification is desirable
Education:
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience or relevant certifications will also be considered.
