The Town of Plainville is currently seeking a part-time Office Assistant/Newsletter Editor in the Plainville Senior Center. Nineteen (19) hours per week, Monday-Friday, primarily mornings. Rate of pay is $19.54 per hour.
Duties for this position include create, write, prepare, and edit monthly newsletter. Attention to detail, excellent writing, communication, grammar, spelling, proof reading, editing and time management skills are essential. Position also requires composing press releases, creating social media announcements, flyers, general correspondence, answering phones, assisting members, etc.
Must have knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, and Microsoft Outlook.
