POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices daily, performing a 3-way match, and
various other accounting transactions. This position requires that you work independently, following through with
assignments with minimal oversite while maintaining discretion. We are offering an excellent starting salary, a

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and process invoices for payment
- PO processing with three-way match
- Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
- Initiate weekly check run, ACH, and wires
- Process check requests as needed
- Post Transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Maintain vendor files
- Process expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies
- Corporate credit card administration
- Code and process monthly credit card transactions
- Pull reports & perform financial review to ensure accuracy of accounting records
- Reconcile vendor statements to system payable
- Completing credit applications, Tax-exempt request forms, and W-9's
- Assist with month end and year end close
- W-9 Tracking and 1099 Filing
- Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)*
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- 5+ years of experience working in accounts payable/accounting
- Experience with accounting software preferred (Business Central, NV, Dynamics, Real Steel, Great Plains)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and Outlook
- Highly motivated and willing team player who is committed to process improvement & financial accuracy
- Knowledge of general accounting policies and procedures
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
- Reliable transportation and valid Driver's License
