Since 1967, Damar Services, Inc has been recognized in central Indiana, and throughout the state, as one of the largest not-for-profit organizations and a leading provider of specialty behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) services at our facilities in Southwestern Marion County and across Indianapolis. Damar’s service and support array has expanded over the years, providing a full continuum of care including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinics, residential and group home operations for children and adults, intensive behavioral interventions, diagnostic and evaluation services, community-based services for child welfare and juvenile justice involved children and families, and primary and outpatient behavioral healthcare services, serving more than 1,500 individuals each day. Damar Services is looking for a talented and motivated Pediatrician to be part of a multi-disciplinary team, in an integrated care setting that offers complete patient care, and the opportunity to collaborate with psychiatrists, clinicians, physician assistants, nursing staff, and community health workers. This position will split their time between our outpatient clinic and our residential campus which provides excellent work-life balance.
Where would I be working? The Pediatrician will see patients at our Damar Health Services clinic, located at 5715 Decatur Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46241 and our Children's Residential Facility located just across the street at 6067 Decatur Blvd, Indianapolis, IN.
What would I be doing? You will be responsible for screening and treating children and adolescents at Damar Health Services clinic and out Damar's residential clients at our Children's Residential Facility. Both locations are about 5 minutes from each-other.

What you need to be considered...

Board Certified Pediatrician with a medical license to practice in the state of Indiana.

Experience or interest in working in mental health or with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is ideal.

Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the appropriate specialty practice (pediatric) techniques and treatment processes.

Must demonstrate client centered values of Trauma Informed Care as well as work effectively with a broad team of other health care professionals.

Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.

Must meet and maintain background screening requirements of the program(s) assigned to.
- No felony convictions or other criminal offenses involving a dependent population.

Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.
