We are looking for responsible, reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSP) who love working with people in need. Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are responsible for assisting with daily living skills, socialization, community outings, caregiving, medication administration and many other tasks under the Community Habilitation (ComHab) or Respite programs.
Open Direct Support Professional (DSP) Positions:
Bronx 10457: 17 year old male, verbal. 4 hours a week of Community Habilitation (comhab) open schedule, SATURDAY or SUNDAY
Manhattan 10029: 20 year old male, verbal. 12 hours a week of respite and 16 hours a week of Community Habilitation (comhab). MONDAY - THURSDAY 3PM-8PM & FRIDAY'S 3PM-7PM.
Bronx 10457: 29 year old male; 10 hours a week of Community Habilitation (comhab), SATURDAY & SUNDAY 10am-3pm
Bronx 10470 (two siblings in the home)
6 year old female, limited verbal MONDAY - THURSDAY 3:30-6pm. 10 Hours a week of Respite, activities geared towards recreational activities to help improve her social and communication
11 year old male, verbal Monday-Friday 6pm-8pm, but he does have a total of 12 hours a week of Respite, activities geared towards recreational activities to help improve her social and communication and 4 hours a week, to help with improving his independence and safety skills, so if mom needs you to work later, you can do so if you are available.
Manhattan 10039: 9 year old male. 4 hours a week of Respite; Saturday & Sunday 12pm-2pm
Bronx 10453: 6 year old female; 12 hours a week of Respite; Saturday & Sunday 10am-4pm
Bronx 10461: 24 year old female, 8 hours a week of Community Habilitation and 6 hours a week of respite Monday-Thursday after 2:30 pm
Manhattan 10016: 13 year old female 20 hours a week of respite and 6 hours a week of Community Habilitation; weekends open, Monday - Friday 4pm-8pm
Bronx 10455: 15 year old male, 6 hours a week of respite and 6 hours a week of Community Habilitation; Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9am-1pm
Bronx 10462: 8 year old male, Wednesday & Thursday, 3pm-9pm, 12 hours a week of Respite
Bronx 10459: 5 year old female, Sunday 9am-5pm, 8 hours a week
Manhattan 10038: 17 year old male, 15.5 hours a week of Respite and 8 hours a week of Community Habilitation, Monday - Friday 3:30 pm-7:30 pm
What is the WORK EXPERIENCE requirements?
The ideal candidate will have a background in education or healthcare, and have excellent communication skills and the desire to help others.

What are the RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Perform assessments on residents.
- Teach residents living skills.
- Communicate with staff to coordinate care plans.
- Make sure that residents are safe and well cared for.
- Supervise residents when they are engaging in activities outside of their room.
- Create daily schedules for group activities.
- Be actively friendly to residents, family members, and coworkers.
What is the EDUCATION requirements?
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (we provide training)
