This role provides leadership and management to consulting staff and project teams, effectively influencing senior leaders, team leaders, and team members to develop transformational target states and rapidly drive change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse team of managers, senior consultants, and consultants who use human and organizational performance principles, Lean 6 Sigma, and advanced analytics to provide insight into process performance, identify behavior-related gaps, process improvements, and implement solutions.
- Overseeing the prioritization of COO strategic projects to optimize processes, reduce waste, and balance risks.
- Effectively communicating with COO senior leadership to align resources and priorities, ensuring achievement of COO performance improvement goals and strategic initiatives.
- Identifying key focus areas and gaps in COO where leveraging strategic operational support capabilities could result in dramatic COO performance improvements.
- Cultivating a Lean culture and interfacing with the leadership team on enterprise-level improvement progress.
- Developing relationships that support honest communication and a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration to drive cultural change.
- Ensuring communications to leadership are clear and consistent, articulately conveying potential project value propositions, project status, and levels of success.
- Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with leadership to connect teams and better achieve alignment on cost-saving and performance-improving initiatives.
- Directing the measurement of program impact and corresponding communications, metrics, and dashboards as needed to monitor change and effectiveness.
- Ensuring consulting team project workload is optimized while maintaining a workplace culture that is consistent with the organization's mission and values.
- Providing input into the development of business unit strategic plans to achieve business results.
- Participating in continuous improvement reviews with local and/or regional management.

Pay: $44.35 - $93.41 per hour
