Job Summary:
This position responds to inquiries for placement received by the public and coordinates the complete and timely processing of all intake referrals and admissions for all transitional programs of Marian House.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Intake
Initiate the screening process through handling referral calls and written inquiries.
Maintain contact with the referring agencies and/or individual pursuing placement throughout the interview process.
Maintain an active waitlist for each program and maintains records for all calls, referrals and interviews; and prepares reports for funders and agency leadership as directed.
Enter data on referrals and interviews as required into data systems utilized by the agency.
Conduct initial interviews.
Participate in scheduled team meetings for the Family Program and Single Women’s program so as to be aware of vacancies and be aware of client needs.
Networks and establishes connections with potential rehabilitation/treatment agencies for the purposes of establishing and maintaining viable referral sources.
Refer callers to alternative resources should they not be eligible for placement in Marian House programs.
Care Coordination
Serves as Care Coordinator/Case Manager for a small number of women who are placed at external sites through our Recovery Housing for Women & Children grant. For this case load:
Conducts a minimum of two client contacts per month
Works with each client to set goals for healthy individual and family growth with an emphasis on maintaining recovery from substance use.

Attend meetings with funders and community partners as deemed appropriate.· Cooperate in the agency’s team approach to service provision by assuming responsibilities for program operation and house maintenance when needed. This will occasionally require presence outside regular business days and office hours.

Maintain and expand clinical expertise by taking advantage of workshops, conferences, and in-service opportunities that focus on homelessness, addiction, trauma, and other topics relevant to the Marian House client population.
Minimum Qualifications:
College degree
Background in social work/human services
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft applications
Demonstrated ability to manage a workload efficiently
Good project management and organizational skills
Respect the diversity of population served and embraces those of different race, culture, social class, ethnicity, or sexual preference
Background and ability to understand, appreciate, and carry out the Marian House mission
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
