Works together with the other restaurant leaders in order to accomplish the Owner/Operator’s vision for the restaurant.

This position oversees administrative and organizing tasks related to vendor management, tracking, reporting, organizing, and filing restaurant documents, working closely in assisting the general manager.

Approximately 20-25 hours administrative work weekly. The candidate has the option to work additional hours (40+ total weekly hours) in the food service operation, hospitality or kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Vendor management - inspect work, search for best value, communicate, timely payment

Business reporting - ad hoc tracking and reporting

Email monitoring - respond to guests, team members, Chick-fil-A corporate
-
Payroll - run reports, communicate with team members, ensure team members are paid on time
-
Team morale - organize the team member events and celebrations (meeting goals, anniversaries, birthdays, contests, etc)
-
Community relations/ outside sales and events - reviews donation requests, helps to partner with organizations, creates relationships in the community, assists in catering events
-
Basic marketing - displays signage, changes the marquee - if desired, posts on social media, prepares the community board, coordinates with designers and printers, other restaurant decor

Food donations - works with Chick-fil-A corporate and local non-profits to coordinate donations

Human resources - applicant tracking, interview scheduling, onboarding, orientation, ensuring team member certifications/ files are up-to-date

Physical organization - organizes and maintains the office, storage, manager stand and other spaces in the restaurant

Guest relations - follow-up to guests that have provided feedback

Restaurant operations - as above, works in restaurant operations, serving our guests and team

Depending on how the position is tailored to the candidate, there may be work/ requests outside of the schedule - being required to work from home, come to the restaurant, answer calls, or complete urgent requests beyond the schedule
