Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Agent to join our team!
As an Agent, you will be responsible for building landowner relationships in the interest of maximizing participation in Wind/Solar projects. You will be asking large landowners to put Wind Turbines/Solar Panels on their land. Contractors build relationships with the community and landowners within a specific boundary footprint. Answering questions, informing, and teaching the the landowners about the wind lease/easement.
Duties:
- Build relationships with landowners
- Knowledge of the project and how it works
- Answer landowner questions and provide updates about the projects
- Work together with a BlueCat admin
- Sign acres in the project
- Inputting weekly updates
- Weekly conference calls with corporate
Requirements:
- 1 + year experience in land acquisitions
- Travel (depending on where you're coming from)
- Vehicle for travel
- Basic computer skills
- Reading a map

For this position, you will be a self contractor (1099). You will be required to put in 160 field hours a month. What your schedule looks like, will depend on where you are coming from. Expenses are included in your salary. You are in charge of paying your own fuel, lodging, food, vehicle maintenance, and provide your own computer and desk.
