The Collabtech Group is looking for a Field Service Tech (Collaboration Specialist) to help our customers successfully implement collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Surface Hub, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms and other technologies. The Technical Collaboration Specialist will be Microsoft Teams expert who will be able to configure, deploy and manage Office 365 workloads for Microsoft Teams that focus on the efficient and effective collaboration and communication in customer’s environments.
This is a highly visible, customer-facing role owning the overall technical journey of customers from proof-of-concept, to deployment and implementation, to training and adoption.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an excellent business and technology communicator who can present a memorable experience on key technologies to business and IT professionals.
- Communicate collaboration technology in an engaging and “storytelling” type manner.
- Determine participants' existing knowledge, prepare pertinent, meaningful use cases which will idealize the use of collaboration technology in the customer environment.
- Have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading and adapting discussions with various audiences including senior customer executives, enterprise architects, IT management and developers.
- Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to drive ROI on Collabtech services offerings.
- Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
- Develop deep relationships with members our partners who drive Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Hub, Microsoft Modern Management technologies and conference room technologies.
- Be the voice of the customer and share insights and best practices, and connect with partners and sellers to remove key blockers.
- Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community.
- Be a Microsoft Teams and Collaboration evangelist for Microsoft Surface Hub, Microsoft Teams and other Collaboration technologies.
- Must be comfortable presenting in front of a camera and audience to deliver virtual training and webinars. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver engaging training and presentations.
Technical Experience:
- Experience implementing and deploying of collaboration services to customer environments with a focus on Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Modern Workplace and other OEM solutions is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft desktop and Windows knowledge.
- Plan and Configure a Microsoft Teams Environment
- Microsoft Teams and Teams Rooms
- Active Directory Administration
- Azure Active Directory Administration
- Microsoft Exchange Administration
- Knowledge working with Powershell Scripts
- Microsoft Intune and Autopilot are a plus
- Zoom and Zoom Rooms experience is a plus
Strongly Preferred Experience:
- Modern Desktop Administration
- Audio Visual installation experience
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Working knowledge of distribution and reseller channel.
