This is a rare and exciting opportunity for the right individual to join an established and dynamic, aesthetic plastic surgery practice in Bellevue, Washington. The candidate needs surgical technologist experience who is interested in growing professionally in an efficient and fast paced office environment. The individual must be energetic and reliable and a dependable team player and technically-proficient fast-learner. Required are: excellent motor skills and anticipating ability; having strong attention to detail in all aspects of the job; willingness to do a variety of tasks in our ASC and with patient care.
Responsibilities:
Preparing for procedures with ASC team including pulling supplies; maintaining surgery instruments including cleaning, sterilization and packaging; inventory management; assisting with patient care.
Assisting the surgeon with post-operative care of patients including suture removal, wound care management, appointment scheduling and instructions for care
Patient photography utilizing a propriety photo system
Maintaining state certification including appropriate professional licensing; assist ASC nurse director with ASC-DOH and AAAASF license requirements.
Requirements:
Active Washington State CST License OR
Registered Nurse/First assistant License
BLS Certification
Thorough knowledge of sterilization processes and maintenance of records as per DOH/AAAASF requirements; thorough knowledge preparation of patients for surgery, draping and surgical instrument set-up and organization. Experience with assisting surgeon during surgery.
Minimum of 1 year of CST experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgical facility; plastic surgery experience is a big plus
Must be reliable, energetic and a great team player; be able to work independently, problem solve and have strong attention to detail; must have excellent communication skills and be willing to learn and grow professionally.
