Pentagon Technologies is looking for a Site Administrator to join our team. This is an early career role with potential growth opportunities. This is an hourly position reporting to the site Director of Operations.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Site Administrator to be responsible for managing our administrative and office activities at our Portland facility. These responsibilities will consist of a broad range of activities including providing clerical support to the site Director of Operations, serving as liaison between HR corporate and on-site employees, performing HR related tasks, and responding to many ad hoc support requests.
Essential Duties:
· Perform various HR related tasks including (but not limited to) facilitating new hire orientation, recruiting, posting jobs, completing termination paperwork, and assisting with HR related employee requests.
· Coordinate with corporate payroll and site management while using Paycom (HRIS) to assist with payroll processing activities to ensure accurate and timely weekly payroll processing.
· Serve as onsite liaison for employees that need assistance with HR matters including communicating needs, requests, and issues with corporate HR—ensure that employees can get help with their needs.
· Support and assist with rolling out corporate HR communications and programs as requested from corporate HR.
· Perform administrative support including preparing reports, presentations, and other communications.
· Coordinate with site management to maintain accurate training logs for department level certifications, safety trainings and to track safety infractions including upload incident reports to employee profile and record all OSHA injuries with company systems.
· Assist with planning, organizing, and hosting company events including employee engagement and recognition events all related event activities.
· Help build a site culture that is respectful, collaborative, positive, enjoyable workplace, and instills trust in management.
· Other ad hoc duties to support Director of Operations.
Qualifications:
- GED or equivalent and 2-3 years’ administrative work experience, highly prefer experience in HR and/or customer service and bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management (plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with HRIS, highly preferred.
- Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities and anticipate needs and requirements.
- Ability to work independently and positively adapt to change of priorities while maintaining a level of professionalism.
- Ability to perform under pressure, and the ability to handle and/or resolve conflict in a professional and courteous manner.
- Possess excellent customer relationship and people skills.
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
Work Environment:

Physical Demands:
- The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms, and perform light routine office work, which includes computer workstation usage.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
