Our office prides ourselves in providing quality dental care to our patients. We use the newest technologies to diagnose, treatment plan, and treat our patients. We need a new Assistant to add to our dental team. An ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of dental procedures and patient care, along with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Duties include:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- perform RDA duties such as coronal polishing, sealants, and temporary crowns
-perform DA duties such as, but not limited to, alginate impressions, digital scans on iTero, set up and prepare equipment and instruments
- demonstrate excellent bedside manner and proper injection control techniques
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Perform various office tasks as needed
- Manage time to efficiently and effectively see patients
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- X-ray certification preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods
- Experience with dental software systems is a plus
- CPR Certified
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish is a major plus (English is not required for job)
- Proficiency in aseptic technique
- Understanding of dental coding
- Knowledge of 3D scanner technology and crown design experience
- Experience in assisting with endodontic and implant procedures
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist

Closed one Wednesday and Open one Saturday a month: 9am-4pm
Salary:
Ranges depending on experience: starting $25-30
