Summary/Objective
The position of Solutions Architect works with the Sr. Director and the VP of Product and Solutions to achieve department goals and objectives. The Product and Solutions department sets the criteria for CMS systems and technology for projects sold by SNA Displays. This department and position also works in collaboration with the sales and project management teams.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Create and manage project drawings and documentation for all projects, including rack drawings, schematics, bill of materials, as-builts, and subsequent revisions.
- Test, evaluate and recommend selections of Content Management Systems (CMS) to management for approval and subsequent recommendation to clients and consultants.
- Assist in the development and implementation of department plans and procedures.
- Design, analyze, and implement equipment and plans that are a cost-effective system or configuration that meets the client needs.
- Frequent coordination with the factory regarding proprietary technical specifications and products.
- Assist with internal IT support needs, direct or with vendor assisted support.
- Assist with internal AV support needs, direct or with vendor assisted support.
- Assist with the recommendations for sales and project management teams on best CMS solutions and update departments on technological advancements through continued education at industry tradeshows and events.
- Support for tradeshows and product demonstrations from a technical implementation or technical sales approach, as deemed necessary by management team.
- Respond to assigned requests to meet department dates and project deadlines.
- Provide consultation as needed to clients, vendors and internal staff in the Atlanta office during sales meetings or demonstrations.

This job operates in a professional office environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overnight and weekend work is occasionally required.
Travel
International or domestic travel may also be required from time to time, including but not limited to Tradeshows, Corporate Events, High Profile Installations, or similar needs as directed by management.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent industry related experience.
- 3 plus years in an IT, CAD, Systems related position.
Knowledge of AV hardware and software installation, testing and operation.
