In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is looking for an AI Operations Engineer to support client AI infrastructure.

What You'll Do
- Set up, configuration, and maintenance of AI infrastructure, including hardware, software, and cloud services.
- Ensure that infrastructure components are properly provisioned, optimized, and scalable to support AI workloads effectively.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for deploying AI models and applications into production environments.
- Streamline the deployment process, minimize manual interventions, and ensure consistency and reliability across deployments.
- Monitor the health, performance, and security of AI systems in production, using monitoring tools and alerting mechanisms to identify issues and anomalies.
- Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain system availability and reliability.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelors degree computer related field
- 5+ years experience related to system and infrastructure operations
- 1-2 year(s) in AI related experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in an Agile environment
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder eligible to obtain a Public Trust
Abilities
- Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
