As Lead Consultant you will have responsibility for assisting clients to improve their finance, supply chain and procurement functions through advisory, implementation and support activities with a focus on leveraging SAP based technologies. You will play a leading role in your area of expertise with the aim to successfully deliver and implement projects within the agreed scope to the highest level of quality. You will be leading a team of consultants within a workstream of a large project or acting as a project manager in smaller engagements. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and assigning activities to your project team as well as engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Act as project/functional lead and ensure project deliverables are executed on time and to budget
- Document clients process flow to capture as is/to be process
- Write requirement and specification documents capturing client needs
- Configure system in line with requirements and specification documents
- Develop testing scripts in line with configured system and client requirement
- Execute and support on client testing
- Prepare and deliver presentations to support the engagement and workshops with clients
- Work effectively with senior stake holders and project team
- Maintain application knowledge as assigned to business process areas
- Solve a company’s business requirements through the blending of people, process and technology
- Direct and assign project task to team members and providing ongoing support through coaching, mentoring
- Identify ‘deviations’ and take appropriate corrective action
- Effectively transfer design and configuration knowledge to team members and provide ‘Best Business Practice’ knowledge to aid in the design process
- Support the sales team with presales activities including demos, RFP responses and technical discovery workshops
