Duties:
- Perform vital signs measurements, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
- Assist with respiratory therapy procedures, including administering oxygen and monitoring breathing patterns
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy to accurately position patients for various diagnostic tests and procedures
- Apply medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and document patient information
- Conduct physical examinations under the supervision of a physician or healthcare provider
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations by collecting and analyzing patient samples and test results
- Demonstrate knowledge of physiology to understand the normal functioning of the human body
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or certification in a related field
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
