Procedure Writer - Richland, WA
Work Location: On-site – Richland, WA | Hanford Site (Fermi Building)
Rate: $60-$75/hr ST (non-exempt)
Task Description
Develop procedures including drafting, editing, and revising and performing comment resolution.
Perform equipment walk downs to verify field conditions for new and existing procedures.
Work with functional managers, technical authorities, subject matter experts, and field workers to ensure procedures are written in an appropriate manner for the training, qualification, and experience of the workers.
Ensure the level of detail prescribed in procedures is appropriately balanced with the training required for the position performing the work.
Support development of new procedures and streamlining efforts at the program and project level.
Ensure compliance with CPCCo Procedures standard and process.
Provide daily interface with technical authorities, functional managers, and subject matter experts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with 5 or more years of procedure development experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Can consider 8 years of directly related experience in lieu of a BA/BS degree.
Desired Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience with the Job Hazard Analysis process.
- Experience working with a procedure management system.
- Experience developing and implementing technical procedures for operations.
