Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective online math lessons to students from various grade levels, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and promoting academic excellence and Islamic values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive math lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
- Incorporate Islamic values and ethics into the teaching process.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in math education.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and cohesive learning environment.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance the online learning experience.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. A teaching certification is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in an online setting.
- Strong understanding of Islamic values and the ability to integrate them into the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online teaching platforms.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for teaching and working with children.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $3.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
