Anderson Communities is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Service Crew. (Priority will go to applicants with prior Residential Maintenance experience). You will deliver great resident experiences every day by performing a variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades for the purpose of Building Better Communities. This is a full-time position with a great benefits package.*
Maintenance Technician - Tier II, Full-time*
Duties include:
- Ensure reliable home functionality through preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement
- Deliver great resident experiences by performing a variety of skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and prioritize work accordingly
- Troubleshoot work orders daily for resident service request and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion
- Reasonable on call rotation
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- EPA Certification, REQUIRED
- HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical certification, preferred
- Troubleshooting/repair experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical - strongly desired, not required
- We are willing to train the right candidate!
- Trade School Certificate in related fields, preferred
- Troubleshooting/repair experience in household Appliances, preferred
- Minimum Tools Required: Standard tools (Hammer, screwdriver, wrench, pliers, etc.)
- Must have good communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally
- Must be drug and felony free, and maintain a clear appearance
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
