The Theological Studies Department of Loyola Marymount University invites applications for a one-year (2024-2025), full-time, non-tenure-track position in political theology and social ethics at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor.
The position involves teaching three undergraduate courses a semester in the Core Curriculum areas of Theological Inquiry, Faith & Reason, and Ethics & Justice. The successful candidate will have expertise in political theology, social ethics, and justice studies. Applicants should have a passion for undergraduate teaching, a strong commitment to the liberal arts, and an interest in the unique mission that animates Jesuit/Catholic higher education.
