Job Summary:
Evaluates commercial and personal financial information in order to assess credit worthiness of loan applicants. Prepares summaries, presents facts, and participates in loan committee or other discussions related to credit decisions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Gather, spread, and analyze customer financial information, including but not limited to financial statements, tax returns, business plans, credit reports, industry data.
· Author comprehensive credit approval packages for loan officers, the CCO and loan committee. This position will require an intermediate understanding of financial analysis as it applies to financial statements, repayment source analysis, personal guarantor/individual financial capacity.
· Risk rating determination and analysis.
· Ability to analyze information and translate it into a business level credit memo that clearly communicates the customer’s and bank’s collaborative goal in delivering a feasible financial solution that matches our client’s needs.
· Develop and apply analysis skills regarding CRE market research specifically Co-Star.
· Determine compliance with bank’s loan policies and note loan policy exceptions.
· Advise loan committee regarding customer financial information.
· Prepare monthly board and management reports, or other projects as assigned.
· Portfolio monitoring and management activities as assigned which includes calculating, testing, and clearing financial covenants.
· Accompany lenders on customer calls or inspections.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Related banking or analytical experience is required.
· Spreadsheet and word processing proficiency.
· Excellent mathematical and analytical ability.
· Strong interpersonal, organization, communications, and customer relations skills.
· Must be flexible and adaptable to provide support to lenders with varying backgrounds, specialties, and skill levels.
· Prefer candidates with a strong generalist background with experience across several lending types (ABL, C&I, CRE, etc.) and underwriting loans ranging from $500,000 up to $50,000,000.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance, and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a credit analyst for a commercial bank.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
· Must be able to travel at times.

Pay: $7,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
