```Overview:```
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional Educator to join our team. As a Paraprofessional Educator, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide support in the classroom. Your role will be crucial in helping students achieve their educational goals and fostering a positive learning environment.
```Responsibilities:```
-Working with our aftercare program
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance
- Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and modify curriculum materials as needed
- Assist with classroom management, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean learning environment
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
```Experience:```
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Understanding of literacy education strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in classroom management is a plus
- Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial
- Experience in childcare or toddler care is desirable
- Familiarity with curriculum development is a plus
