QualitySpec Home Inspection is a growing inspection company based in Atlanta. We’re looking to expand our team to include one humble, honesty, and driven Home Inspector immediately. The position offers potential for growth. Our goal is to make the home inspection experience positive, educational, and easy for our clients (the Buyer and the Realtor partner). Our inspectors use the latest innovation and technology to create customized home inspection reports and deliver them on the same day. Our team accomplishes the home inspection process with quality, integrity, and exceptional customer service.

Job requirements (PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING):
- Must have full certification from interNachi or ASHI and must maintain your certification. In addition, must have a certification from an accredited home inspection school. (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THESE certifications)
- Wood Destroying Insect, Radon & Thermography Certifications are required
- Must have at least 2 years home inspection experience or perform 480 inspections a year
- Must be willing to sign a 2 YEAR NON-COMPETE AGREEMENT
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced work industry and work well under pressure.

- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawlspace, enter attics as well as stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to pass all employment screening and technical knowledge exams.
- Required to authorize background and driving checks.
- Available to work some weekends.
- Expected to take property photo for marketing/social media, which we will train you on.
- Must be willing to work all of Metro Atlanta.
- Background check will be required.
- We expect you to do 10+ inspections per week.

- MONTHLY REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES: Non-taxable gas mileage reimbursement for 65.5 cents to the mile to and from home, metered parking when going to inspections (if needed), company vehicle maintenance, and interNachi/ASHI membership & Supra fees
- MAJOR EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED: You must sign a loan agreement with us as we supply you with your major equipment such as drone, thermal imaging gun, etc.
Compensation:
Experience determines salary. This position has the potential to be promoted to a Team Lead role with an increased salary based upon your performance and leadership.

- Sewer Scoping Certification (expected to receive within 1 month of hire date)
Required skills:
Detail oriented: Home inspector must be able to spot small defects that could have a big impact on the safety and value of a home.
Strong communication skills: Inspector must be able to clearly explain issues with a home’s structure, systems, and features to Buyers, Buyer’s Agent, and sometimes listing agent.
Physical stamina: Inspector will spend most of the day walking around the house, looking at various features. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, to safely climb a ladder, crawl under the house or get onto a roof.
Basic math skills: Inspector must be able to calculate square footage, volume, area and dimensions. Must know how to read a tape measure.
Time management skills: Inspector’s workday is filled with appointments, must manage time well in order to complete all tasks on schedule, be well organized, and flexible.
Research skills: Inspectors must keep up-to-date on current building codes and regulations so they can provide accurate information about construction methods and materials used in homes. This requires research skills.
Continuing education: Inspector must keep up with certifications and continuing education in this field to understand new codes.
Must have job ownership, as well as a take charge/can do mentality
Self-motivated, self-disciplined and a friendly demeanor
Proven record of reliability and integrity
Work Environment: Will work in residential and occasional commercial buildings. Must be physically fit and able to climb stairs and ladders as needed. Must be able to perform routine tasks such as lifting heavy floor or wall coverings, pulling and pushing cables through walls and ceilings, and carrying equipment up and down stairs.
Conduct a visual inspection of the home’s physical structure to identify major defects and other problems regarding electrical, plumbing, structure, and HVAC. Prepare inspection report to be delivered same day. Provide client and buyer’s agent with a walk through of the property to explain concerns and educate them on maintenance requirements for various systems. Provide cost estimates for repairs.
