Allegro Resorts Marketing Corp., a member of the Barcelo Hotel Group, is seeking positive and enthusiastic candidates for Full-Time employment as Reservation Sales Agents in a fast-paced sales environment. Our Reservation sales agents will receive and answer in bound calls, book reservations, process payments, sell additional services, and assist customers in planning their vacation while maintaining company standards of excellent customer service. Candidates should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, possess good active listening skills, and have the ability to ask questions and identify problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Full training is provided upon joining the team. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and have own computer/laptop.
Job Description
- Answer sales office phones and respond to all sales inquiries (phone, email, web) accurately and in a timely, professional manner.
- Develop knowledge of Barcelo Hotel Group’s hotels and resort portfolio including, but not limited to, it’s features & benefits (amenities, services, and attributes).
- Develop working knowledge of hotel systems including TalkDesk, SalesForce, NGVA, Synxis,
- Develop sales and basic knowledge of hotel rates, strategies, discounts, and promotions.
- Develop relationships with client base through communication channels in a professional manner.
- Work with others at the hotel level and sales team to achieve common goals
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports as requested by Team Leadership.
- Assist clients with new reservations and modifications to existing reservations.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Team Leadership
Required experience and skills:
- 1 year Sales Background in a Call Center environment (preferred, but not required)
- 1 year Hospitality Background in Hotel or Cruises (preferred, but not required)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Must have good communication skills verbal and written (English)
- Must be patient with good active listening skills
- Must be computer literate and have good troubleshooting skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
