JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for greeting all individuals as they enter the gym, enrolling new members, giving center tours, and providing excellent customer service at all times. Front Desk agents make our clients feel welcome and complete a variety of front desk tasks, such as taking phone calls, answering questions, handling correspondence, and keeping the reception area clean and well-organized. All team members are responsible for participating in programming and events in order to ensure optimal performance. Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards. Provides excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and 0the ability to motivate others.
Nights and weekends are required, on-call capabilities preferred, as well as other shifts as needed. Estimated number of hours per week needed is 15-20 but the position is flexible based on availability.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Answer incoming phone calls and provide messages or return calls as needed
Accept member feedback and concerns professionally and communicate to management
Cleaning of fitness center and equipment
Notifying management of equipment needs
Laundry and sleep rooms
Restocking sales inventory and products
Responsible for tracking sign-ups for group exercise classes
Offer center tours to potential members
Assist with center marketing and other day to day operations of the gym
Floor supervision
Enforcement of rules and regulations
Assist members with accessing Virtual Workouts (Elevation Live and Elevation Station)
Offer ideas for Wellness Initiatives (bulletin boards, newsletters, lunch n learns)
Collaborate with staff on ideas for Incentive Programming and Health Promotion
Clean fitness center, locker rooms, laundry and sleep rooms
Current CPR/AED certification - required
Flexible schedule, graveyard shifts between 10pm-8am - required
Must pass 10 year background check - required
Customer service experience - preferred
