Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise the restaurant staff during assigned shifts - Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures - Train new team members on proper food preparation, safety, and customer service - Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations - Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving overall restaurant performance - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees - Assist with scheduling and managing labor costs Experience: - Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry is preferred - Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and safety protocols - Familiarity with POS systems and ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Proven ability to lead and motivate a team Skills: - Leadership: Ability to lead a team and make decisions in a fast-paced environment - Kitchen: Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques - Restaurant Management: Understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and customer service - Kitchen Management: Experience in managing kitchen staff, inventory control, and ensuring food safety standards are met - Food Preparation: Proficient in food preparation techniques and ability to train staff on proper procedures - POS: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Food Service Management: Understanding of food service industry regulations, health codes, and best practices Join our team and take your career to the next level as a Shift Manager.
