Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Service Manager to join our team. As an in-office Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the service department's operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to our clients.
We REQUIRE at least 2 years of experience with scheduling electricians and making estimates.
Responsibilities:
- Perform material buyouts, cost management, invoice preparation, and estimates on jobs
- Manage and supervise the service department staff, including training and scheduling
- Oversee maintenance and repair on residential and commercial properties, ensuring quality workmanship from all employees
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience doing project management for electrical work, including estimates and scheduling
- 7-10 years of hands-on electrical experience, including commercial and residential experience
- Strong knowledge of current NEC and local city codes
- Pass a background check and clean driving record
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with clients and technicians
