Duties:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents involved in real estate transactions and bank loans, such as deeds, easements, closing statements, title policies, abstract and survey issues and review, etc.
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Communicate with clients, and other parties involved in the transactions
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing calendars, and handling correspondence and billing
Experience / Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a real estate paralegal or in a related legal field (i.e. title review)
- Strong knowledge of title, bank loans, real estate transactions (mainly commercial but knowledge of residential is helpful)
- Experience with real estate documents, closing procedures, and benefit if able to form entities and prepare organizational documents for same
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks and procedures

Position would work with attorneys in Syracuse and Rochester New York (and may be located in either Syracuse or Rochester New York). The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients, attorneys, and other professionals. The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information is also crucial. Ability to review and write title policies preferred (and would be for the higher end of salary range), but not absolutely required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
