Our family-owned restaurant is looking for a friendly, responsible, well-organized team member and cashier to join our front-of-house staff part-time or full-time.
Bartenders create the first impression and a relaxing environment for patrons at Embarqué Whiskey Grill. You will greet and help customers, process transactions, and provide efficient cash handling. You’ll also put care into the cleanliness of the counter area, package products, and get things ready for the next day.

Key Duties
- Bartending Expertise:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and professionalism.
- Be knowledgeable about cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and other drink offerings.
- Customer Service:
- Create a warm and welcoming environment in the bar area.
- Engage with customers, provide recommendations, and ensure their needs are met.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns courteously and promptly.
- Cleanliness and Organization:
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including regular cleaning and sanitization of equipment and workspaces.
- Restock supplies as needed, ensuring everything is readily available.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards, including responsible alcohol service and ID checking procedures.
- Follow airport regulations and policies for responsible beverage service.
- Menu and Promotion:
- Familiarize yourself with drink menus and promotions, and communicate them effectively to customers.
- Support special events, happy hours, and promotions to enhance the customer experience.
- Cash Handling:
- Operate cash registers accurately, handle payments, and provide change to customers.
- Keep a record of sales and transactions.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not always required.
- Proficiency in mixing and serving drinks, with an eagerness to learn and improve.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess the necessary permits and licenses.
- Familiarity with airport operations and regulations is beneficial.
Airport Bartenders are essential to providing travelers with a pleasant and relaxing experience during their time at the airport. This role requires individuals who are passionate about bartending and are committed to delivering top-notch service while adhering to airport and industry standards.
Requirements
- Food Handlers and Alcohol Serving permits are REQUIRED before start of work.
- Must also pass the SEA International Airport’s background check per TSA Regulations.
