Seeking a front office team member for busy mental health practice. Can be part-time or full-time (minimum of 30, up to 40 hours per week). Can be partly worked from home, but must be able to report to the office in Albuquerque 2-3 days a week.
What skills will allow you to thrive in this position:
- Ability to multi-task. Comfortable with spreadsheets and documentation, answering phones, responding to client and provider texts and emails, scheduling, entering client data into electronic medical records, verifying insurance, obtaining prior authorizations, etc.
- Experience with insurance - insurance eligibility verification, Medicaid eligibility confirmation.
- Friendly, compassionate presence in person and on phone: communicate with our clients calmly, compassionately, and with kindness in all interactions: in-person, by telephone, and by email. We strive to provide impeccable customer service.
- Digital Expertise: we operate in a paperless office as much as possible, so all staff must be very confident using cloud-based applications, such as google drive, and electronic medical records programs (we use Therapy Notes). Other systems and programs utilized: google meet, square (for taking payments), scanning software, adobe (creating and editing PDFs), word, excel, etc.
- Careful Data Entry: must be skilled at accurately entering client data into our medical record system. Insurance info, demographic data, etc.
