Key Responsibilities
- Repair, modify and install equipment to maintain and operate the facility.
- Perform preventative maintenance on belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, bearings, motors, gear boxes, feeders, rolls, drive chains, and mechanical seals and pumps.
- Work in confined spaces, on elevated platforms, ladders, scaffolding and roofs.
- Perform all tasks associated with troubleshooting equipment and proof test equipment as necessary to solve problems and pro- actively prevent them.
- Perform all tasks associated with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Recognize problems, identify root cause, and develop options to address the root cause within time constraints, and select and implement appropriate solution.
- Accurately maintains records and reports as required
- PLC ladder logic troubleshooting and maintenance of power systems through standard instrumentation.
- Install, test and maintain control devices, pressure-sensing units and flow measuring devices.
- Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair Allen Bradley PLCs and install, test and maintain process motor control systems.
- Work from detailed technical documents, blueprints and schematics.
- Basic welding and fabrication.
- Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC, and facility maintenance experience required
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will be required to perform in a multi-craft environment. This position requires strong experience in mechanical, electrical. Prior experience in manufacturing and plant maintenance is preferred. Thorough knowledge of Industrial production and utility equipment operation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 3-5 years in maintenance or related skills preferred.
- Electrical experience/background is strongly preferred.
- CNC shop and CNC Machine maintenance experience
- Have good attendance and safety records.
- Be able to work well in a team.
- Read and follow Work Order instructions.
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair various plant production and utility equipment.
- Read and understand prints and CAD drawings.
- Read and understand equipment technical manuals.
- Possess strong computer skills.
- Be able to work in an environment where respiratory protective equipment is required.
- Operate various Plant production and utility equipment and associated process control equipment.
- Be able to work in elevated areas or confined spaces.
- Be flexible with start/quit times.
- Accept extended and/or weekend schedules if needed.
- Experience using hand tools and power hand tools.
- Ability to read, interpret and understand technical documents and drawings of plant equipment.
- Ability to perform confined space entry, work at heights, lifting, and manual labor.
- Basic PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel software, CMMS operating systems.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
