IREN is currently looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our Childress, TX team. IREN operates in an atmosphere where we work hard and celebrate one another’s wins. Responsibilities
· Serve as the owner of the work order system and scheduling process for preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and capital improvement projects.
· Coordinate detailed planning, resource identification and resource allocation for scheduled maintenance and un-scheduled maintenance.
· Prepare job plans detailing the scope of work (what & how) as well as required resources (labor, materials, special tools / equipment and contractors), detailing required size & duration.
· Review work order backlog to create, plan and process work orders
· Understand the resources available from onsite and offsite suppliers for the plan, including equipment, materials, labour and contractors.
· Assist warehouse function in the kitting and staging of job material requirements.
· Ensure the established schedule is communicated to all plant stakeholders.
· Maintain work order history & asset data collected through maintenance activities.
· Develop planner reference systems including a file of planned job packages for recurring jobs, plus labor and material libraries for each piece of equipment.
· Work with operations to identify critical spares and monitor warehouse stock levels.
· Provide timely detailed maintenance planning reports supported by analysis and action to address issues and opportunities.
· Develop and publish weekly and monthly maintenance status reports including Key Performance Indicators.
· Liaise with supervisors and technicians on problems and any other important changes that may influence planned maintenance activities.
· Conduct site inspections of planned work activities to maximise operational effectiveness, planning and efficiency improvements.
· Identify potential improvement opportunities with maintenance management systems and implement processes to improve the long-term maintenance planning and scheduling.
Requirements:
· + 5 years maintenance planning experience in industrial or process facilities/plants.
· Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.
· Microsoft Office applications - intermediate skill level.
· Awareness of reliability and maintenance methodologies such as risk-based work selections and equipment strategies.
· Experience in labour resources planning and estimating time & materials.
· Experience in coordinating logistics, stores, services, equipment and hire equipment.
· Multi discipline trade supervisory staff and trades personnel management.
· Experience in QC processes.
