The Mental Health Specialist III - Program Manager provides direct supervision and program development for our team of professional under the ACT/EASA program (Assertive Community Treatment and Early Assessment & Support Alliance.

Here’s what you would be doing:
- As a key member of the Behavioral Health Management team you would supervise and direct a team of clinical staff including recruitment, hiring, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. You would supervise approximately 6 professionals.
- Review and approve clinical treatment plans, referrals of therapy/case management and other clinical services.
- Ensure the operational programs maintain financial viability by working with the management team on budgetary needs.
- Provide leadership and ensure compliance with program objectives to meet the needs of clients, community and the department.
Skills and experience we are seeking for this position include:
- Masters degree in psychology, social work, psychiatric nursing or related mental health field.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive post graduate experience including 2 years in consultation and administration.
- Ability to conduct diagnosis and evaluation, treatment planning and treatment monitoring and cooperate with persons from all walks of life.
- Ability to learn/utilize computer medical record systems and general office equipment.
- Successful candidates must pass a criminal background screen through DHS.
- Position requires operation of a motor vehicle and DMV driving check.
