Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and record patients' medical histories and vital signs
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions following dental work
- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments
- Perform dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
Skills:
- Bilingual: English & Spanish
-Knowledge of medical coding
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Understanding of dental anatomy
- Experience with Open Dental or similar electronic health record systems
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
- Proficiency in infection control protocols
- Ability to take accurate vital signs
- Skill in assisting with medical imaging procedures
