POSITION TITLE: AnyDoor Place (ADP) Assistant Manager - McMinnville
RESPONSIBLE TO: AnyDoor Place (ADP) Program Manager
This position is at our ADP location in Minnville, OR
WAGE: $55,120.00 per year - exempt position
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
This full-time, exempt positions, will assist with the management of all aspects of the AnyDoor Place Navigation Center. The ADP facilities are composed of three essential elements: day center services to support basic needs, navigation center services to support quick resource resolution, and nightly shelter services. All programs and services offered out of the ADP facility are to assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Yamhill County, OR.
This position works closely with the ADP Program Manager and oversees the day-to-day operations and services provided at the ADP Navigation Center.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position will work closely with the unhoused population within both an office setting and shelter setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Create a positive team atmosphere providing quality service to clients, staff and volunteers through active listening, positive problem solving, and timely responses.
2. Follow, adhere to, and advance all YCAP, Housing Stabilization Department program policies and procedures.
3. Complete specialized trainings that meet OHCS Navigation Center funding requirements. This includes, but is not limited to: De-Escalation, Trauma informed care, Coordinated Entry, Non-Violent Communication, Harm Reduction, Fair Housing, Domestic Violence Support, and Mental Health First-Aid.
4. Ensure all hard copy and electronic client files are updated, accurate, and in compliance with all City, State, Federal, and Private grant requirements.
5. Lead YCAP’s internal ADP file monitoring every quarter.
6. Support agency activities and initiatives related to homelessness. This can include, but is not limited to: annual Point-in-Time count (PIT), Yamhill County Community Court, Service Integration Teams (SIT), Built for Zero (BFZ).
7. Manage data and critical client information entered into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) on a consistent basis.
8. Provide timely reports and accurate data collection of households utilizing ADP Newberg services.
9. Develop strong working relationships with key community partners slated to provide resources at the ADP Navigation Centers.
10. Supervise the day-to-day activities of the ADP Navigation Center programs and staff.
11. Responsible for hiring new staff, evaluating employee performance, terminating staff if necessary and creating new job descriptions.
12. Support YCAP Coordinated Entry system, including implementing best practices and data tracking measures, system racial equity analysis, and leading community case conferencing meetings.
13. Direct the work of case managers, support staff, and shelter staff via trainings, advice, and evaluated staff performance.
14. Assist the ADP Program Manager in preparing and tracking data, special projects, and grant applications.
15. Collaborate with the ADP Program Manager and the Housing Initiative Director related to program needs.
16. Assist with purchasing supplies for program activities and service needs in alignment with program budget.
17. Occasionally provide and/or arrange coverage for vacant ADP Newberg shifts.
18. Occasionally drive to and from locations for meetings and supplies.
19. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- BSW and/or equivalent experience preferred, plus 2 years of supervising experience.
- Bi-lingual applicants preferred.
- Knowledge of computers, software programs and databases.
- Experience working with HMIS preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications, problem solving and team work.
- Skill in verbal and written communications.

- Strong interpersonal skills working with clients and staff from diverse backgrounds. This includes, but is not limited to: ethnic, religious, physical, sexual orientation, and mental abilities.

Pay: From $26.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
