Job Description
Atlantic is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Badge & Credentialing Specialist to manage our extensive badging and credentialing process. This role is crucial to ensuring our workforce of over 200 employees is fully compliant with the stringent requirements set by our government clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and customer support skills, with the ability to manage complex processes in a fast-paced environment. This person must also speak fluent English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Credential Management: Maintain and update our comprehensive tracker which documents all employee credentials and badging requirements for various projects.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all credentialing inquiries, providing exceptional support to employees throughout the badging process.
- Process Improvement: Continually assess and improve the credentialing process to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure all employees meet the specific badging requirements for projects, including background checks and security clearances as required by government agencies.
- Training and Support: Offer guidance and training to employees to assist them in completing their credentialing requirements.
- Bilingual Support: Provide support in both English and Spanish, facilitating clear communication with our diverse workforce.
- Record Keeping: Keep meticulous records of all credentialing activities, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, project managers, and government liaisons to ensure all personnel are properly credentialed for their respective roles.
Requirements
- Understanding of Government Compliance: Familiarity with government contracts and the specific badging requirements of agencies like DOD, FRB (PIV), GSA (HSPD-12), USACE, etc., is highly desirable.
- Experience: Proven experience in a credentialing or administrative role, preferably in the construction industry or related field.
- Education: High school diploma required; higher education or certification in administration, business, or related field is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with an ability to manage complex information and make accurate updates to our tracking systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
- Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromise.
- Prioritization Skills: Must be able to work under pressure, work smart, and prioritize tasks based on company needs.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency in spreadsheet management and standard office software like Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
