The Role:
Better Life Partners is a dynamic and forward-thinking healthcare and substance use treatment organization committed to improving the lives of individuals and communities through innovative solutions. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our team and play a crucial role in managing and executing various initiatives that contribute to our mission.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Efficiently manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed seamlessly.
Operational Support:
- Work closely with inter-departmental team members to optimize operational processes within your market.
- Provide administrative support and ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations.
- Help to organize and plan in-person team meetings.
- Working closely with the Compliance Team and market leadership, help track and maintain applicable licenses and ongoing standards for our partner and office sites.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain documentation for projects, processes, and procedures, with an eye on key regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- With a keen eye toward data, generate regular reports on project status, key performance indicators, and other relevant metrics.
- Utilize Excel or Google Sheets and Word / Google Docs proficiently for documentation and reporting purposes.
Communication:
- Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Foster effective communication within the team, with BLP leadership and with external stakeholders.
- Communicate regularly with community partners, building and maintaining those key relationships
- Keep all relevant parties informed about project progress and changes.
Remote and Onsite Collaboration:
- Work remotely while staying connected and engaged with team members.
- Travel to site locations within your assigned market(s) in order to help optimize in-person infrastructure and operations.
- Plan and attend occasional onsite meetings, as needed, to collaborate and build stronger connections.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; preference is given for a degree or certificate(s) in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in project management and operational support roles.
- Familiarity with remote work and the ability to thrive in a virtual environment.
- Healthcare experience is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and Microsoft Word/ Google Docs for documentation and reporting.
- Experience with project management tools is a plus.
Organizational Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Collaboration:
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
Hybrid position requirements:
- Must be in commutable distance to Massachusetts.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to travel locally within the communities we serve.
- Must have internet service with minimum upload/download ability.
- The company will provide equipment (laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headset) plus a remote work stipend.
- Must have a quiet space to speak to members with minimal background noise.
- Must understand the importance of protected health information and ensure any data/information is not visible to others.
This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. The starting range for this position is $25.23 - $33.54 per hour + equity + benefits. The final compensation package is influenced by various factors such as experience, education, degrees earned, market data, and business requirements.
