As one of the largest Refrigerated LTL carriers in the Western United States, Northern Refrigerated Transportation is currently seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively.
We specialize in providing transportation solutions for refrigerated goods and do not engage in product sales. As such, we are specifically seeking candidates with proven experience in selling refrigerated Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Truckload transportation services. Applicants without this background will not be considered for this role.
**Please note that experience in selling cars, telephones, real estate or goods from a retail store do not align with the requirements of this position and therefore does not meet our criteria. Similarly, if your professional background involves roles such as truck driver or forklift driver, we kindly request that you refrain from applying, as this position is not suited for those skill sets.
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and meeting or exceeding sales targets throughout Southern California. We are specifically looking for one sales executive to cover the greater Los Angeles basin and one sales executive to cover the greater Inland Empire. Additional coverage assignments for Southern Nevada, and Arizona will be determined once the rolls are filled.
Qualified Sales Representative will have the follow attributes and abilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Identify and target new business opportunities through market research and analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals on a regular basis
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
Experience
- Proven experience in refrigerated LTL & Truckload transportation sales
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
